A top label source revealed to the media takeout: Jay-Z approached 50 Cent - whose contract with Interscope ends in December - to the beginning of this year and now he talking about Janet and Jermaine. Jay-Z reported wants to sign 50 Cent and Janet Jackson for his new record label. The rapper is said to want to do the In Da Club star and Together Again singer - who announced he had left his record company, Island Records Def Jam imprint, to the beginning of this week - the first signing for his StarRoc new venture, along with Janet long-term boyfriend, producer Jermaine Dupri.
